A solid eighteen carat yellow and white gold curb link bracelet. This is a superb byzantine style link, lush bracelet with wonderful depth as links give a feeling of being round. Since the maker used eighteen carat gold it has a beautiful warm colour to it, and feels great on the wrist The bracelet is closed through a classic spring "C" shape clasp which is well integrated into the design of the links on either side of the closure.
There are a couple of hallmarks; a gold assay marks and makers mark on the non-clasp side end link. It has "750" for eighteen carat gold, along with a maker mark that is partially obscured and cannot be identified.
The bracelet measures just over eight inches long, and is a comfortable weight of eight and a half grams, and is 5.85mm thick. There is a mix of both white and yellow gold. There is also two links that have oxidized over the years. They look very interesting in the overall layout of the bracelet, so they have not been cleaned as they add to the look of the different colours of gold employed. They add an almost "modern" feel to it.
Overall, this is a stunning and super quality, vintage, high carat gold bracelet, European made, circa 1950's.
